The scale went down again this week. My #1 motivator? My number one motivator is having to put a picture of my scale onto my blog every week.

I am now down 2.6 pounds!
Successes
- Eating healthy
- Working out more
Challenges
- Drinking water
- I was out of town
- We celebrated my son’s birthday
- I hosted a wedding shower
My largest challenge this week was traveling to Michigan, eating every meal with family, and celebrating my son’s birthday. There was pasta, pizza, birthday cake, extra frosting, ice cream, chocolate covered toffee, and more ice cream. There was basically temptation around every corner. I focused on eating healthy, but did take a few bites of the unhealthy treats.
During my four-day weekend trip I also did not find time to workout.
This Week
This week I’m back home and will be focuses on my regular routine – drinking water, eating healthy, and most importantly exercising every day. Since I started the Move It & Lost Challenge, I have seen that the only way I can lose weight and FEEL my body getting into shape is by exercising 5-6 days a week.

Wow! You certainly did have a lot going on, so kudos for being able to resist most of the temptation and come out of it down another pound! I so admire you ladies that are posting the scale pictures!

Great job on still losing despite the challenges of the food you were surrounded by and the lack of exercise. Keep being consistent and supportive of everyone. I love what you bring to mamavation.
