Support Matters
Last Monday, when I needed it most, I reached out to my Mamavation sistas to help me be more accountable for exercising.

Within a few minutes, I heard from Jennifer @jenstuart27, Katie @sailorsprincess, and Stella @mountainmomma. This micro group of sistas has helped me increase my exercise from once a week to three times a week! It was great letting these sistas know when I worked out and it was inspiring when Jennifer, Katie, and Stella told me when they worked out. I’m hoping to continue this support process so I can move towards working out five days a week.
Exercise Matters
Exercising three times this week helped me lose 1.2 pounds. My exercise routine included the following activities:
- Lifting weights
- Step aerobics using the Wii balance board
- Walking outside
My Healthy Commitments for the Week
- Continue using my online support system
- Continue drinking more and more water
- Continue making healthy “feel-good” food choices
- Work out five times

Isn’t having this online support incredible? We really do care for each other. I am glad you reached out on twitter for help when you needed it. I have done the same to step away from empty calories. Keep up the hard work and accountability, congrats on the 1.2 pounds. You earned them.

Virtual workout partners is a great idea … there’s something empowering when you know others are going through the same things you are — a sense of virtual camaraderie.

Whoo Hoo! I love it when I tweet something and followers actually hear and support me. Go you for kicking up your work outs. It’s just a matter of time before you are kicking it up from 3 to 5. Even walking for 30 minutes outside counts!!!! So go get that fresh air. Good luck this week.
